Sridevi’s death has left her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor, shell-shocked. Jhanvi, in particular, could not even be with her mother in Dubai at the time of the latter’s death following her film commitments in Mumbai.
Post her mother’s funeral, both Boney and Jhanvi had posted incredibly emotional messages explaining what the departed actor meant to them. In her social media post, Jhanvi, who’s making her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, wrote that she still felt her mother’s love. She went on to write, “There’s is a gnawing hollowness in my chest that I know I’ll have to learn how to live with. Even with all this emptiness, I still feel your love. I feel you are protecting me from sadness and pain. Every time I close my eyes, I only have good things to remember.”
Boney, in his message, had thanked son Arjun Kapoor and daughter Anshula Kapoor for being ‘pillars of strength’ as the family mourned the untimely death of the legendary actor.
He had written, “l am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula. who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together. as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss.”
Meanwhile, Anshula, too took to Instagram to post a famous quote, which read, “No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers will still spring up in the middle of nowhere.” This elicited overwhelming response from her followers on Instagram. But among them was a user, who reacted with an abusive post for Jhanvi and Khushi. This prompted Anshula to slam the user and delete her abusive comments adding that she did not appreciate the ‘abusive language’ towards her sisters.
She wrote, “Hi, I’m requesting you to refrain from using abusive language especially towards my sisters, I do not appreciate it and have therefore deleted your comments. While I am grateful for your passion and love for bhai and me, just a small correction – I was never working outside India. Let’s please spread joy and good vibes. Thank you for the love.”
62-year-old Boney Kapoor was married to Mona Kapoor and had two children, Anshula and Arjun, before he married Sridevi. Arjun is already an established Bollywood actor.
