According to the latest reports, the AAP has moved court in the case pertaining to Jitender Tomar’s arrest. The hearing is likely to take place on Thursday.
Reports also suggest that, Jal Board vice chairman Kapil Mishra will succeed Jitender Tomar as Delhi’s law minister.
Tomar, who was arrested on Tuesday without any prior notice, told a news agency, “My degree is real. This is a conspiracy by the Central Government.” He further assured the public that he would win the case and soon work with the party again.
Tomar’s arrest raised a lot of questions by the Delhi government, which has accused the police and the Central government of arresting the law minister of Delhi like a common criminal and using pressure tactics.
