Aam Aadmi Party MLA Manoj Kumar has been detained by the Delhi Police in connection with a land grabbing case. Kumar has been detained at the New Ashok Nagar police station.
“This is an old matter related to some land fraud, investigating officer is questioning Manoj Kumar as of now,” Delhi Police chief BS Bassi said.
In April, Kumar was booked for an assault case registered against him, for allegedly thrashing a 26-year-old youth from his area, Kondli in New Delhi.
Kumar had then filed a cross FIR against the person for abusing and pushing him.
