There are reports of a 16-year-old schoolgirl being abducted and gang-raped by fellow classmates.
According to the police, the incident took place in Gurgaon on Friday, when the girl was abducted by four of her classmates while waiting for her school bus.
Police said that the girl was abducted and taken to Manesar, around 20 kms from Gurgaon city, where she was gang-raped.
The boys, all from the same school in Manesar, allegedly blindfolded the girl, took her to an isolated place in a van and raped her. Three out of four are being described as minors. The victim was later dropped by the accused near her house in the evening.
Both the girl and the four accused went to the same school in Manesar.
It was only after the girl shared her ordeal with her parents when they decided to lodge a police complaint against the boys.
After the girl identified the culprits, police arrested two boys and booked them under several sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
They were produced in a magistrate court, which decided to send them to a juvenile home in Faridabad.
