भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) ने लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए बुधवार (17 अप्रैल) को मध्य प्रदेश में चार अहम सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों का ऐलान किया। बीजेपी ने मालेगांव विस्फोट मामले में लंबे समय तक कानूनी प्रक्रिया का सामना कर चुकीं साध्वी प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर के पार्टी में औपचारिक तौर पर शामिल होने के कुछ घंटे बाद ही अब उन्हें भोपाल संसदीय क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस के दिग्विजय सिंह के खिलाफ प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिया है।
साध्वी प्रज्ञा ने बुधवार को ही भोपाल स्थित पार्टी के प्रदेश कायार्लय भी पहुंची थी, यहां उनकी पार्टी के कई आला नेताओं से मुलाकात हुई। जिसके बाद उन्होंने औपचारिक तौर पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी का दामन थाम लिया। बीजेपी दफ्तर पहुंचते ही भोपाल सीट से उनकी उम्मीदवारी को लेकर भी अटकलें तेज हो गईं थी। भोपाल संसदीय सीट से बीजेपी उम्मीदवार बनाए जाने पर साध्वी प्रज्ञा ने कहा कि हम तैयार हैं, अब उसी कार्य में लग गई हूं।
प्रज्ञा ठाकुर को लोकसभा चुनाव में उम्मीदवार बनाए जाने के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर लोग बीजेपी और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर हमलावर हो गए हैं। यूजर्स ने साध्वी प्रज्ञा को टिकट दिए जाने पर उन्हें “विकास की नई ब्रांड एंबेसडर…” बताते हुए अपना गुस्सा जाहिर किया है। बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री स्वरा भास्कर और मशहूर गीतकार जावेद अख्तर सहित कई वरिष्ठ पत्रकारों ने ट्वीट कर बीजेपी पर निशाना साधा गया है।
वहीं, बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री स्वरा भास्कर ने समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई के प्रज्ञा ठाकुर से बातचीत वाले एक अन्य ट्वीट को रिट्वीट करते हुए लिखा, ‘मध्य प्रदेश के प्रत्याशियों की हमारी शानदार सूची के अलावा एक संभावित आतंकवादी… मालेगांव ब्लास्ट की आरोपी साध्वी प्रज्ञा.. बीजेपी नफरत और विभाजन के अपने एजेंडे में बिल्कुल नग्न है।’
