Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik has threatened to drop a ‘hydrogen bomb’ on Wednesday morning in a bid to expose former BJP Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ underworld links.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Malik said, “I will reveal tomorrow at 10 AM how Devendra Fadnavis had held the whole city of Mumbai hostage during his time as the state’s chief minister.”

Malik’s warning came minutes after Fadnavis accused Malik of purchasing more than two acres of plot in Mumbai from one Salim Patel, allegedly a front man of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker and one Badshah Khan, who was an accused in a 1993 blast convict.

Fadnavis said that he had documentary evidence of five such properties and he planned to hand them over to relevant authorities. “There is a direct connection with the underworld. I have documents of five property deals. Four properties purchased connected with the underworld. I will ascertain which appropriate authorities, whether it is police, ED, NIA, and hand it over to them,” Fadnavis was quoted by Hindustan Times.

Responding to Fadnavis’ allegations, Malik said that he would expose the former Maharashtra chief minister’s underworld links. He said, “I will drop a hydrogen bomb tomorrow and reveal how Devendra Fadnavis had held people of Mumbai to hostage with the help of the underworld.”

Malik has been relentlessly exposing the controversial NCB officer Sameer Wankhede and his alleged involvement in the extortion racket. Malik had accused Wankhede of running an extortion racket during the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. Malik had also accused Wankhede of forging documents to claim reservation in the UPSC exam.

Malik had also alleged that the NCB was working at the behest of the BJP to frame Aryan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan was the next target. His expose against the NCB and its officer had sent shockwaves in the BJP. There’s a feeling that Malik’s expose about the NCB, which reports to Home Minister Amit Shah, has shaken the top leadership of the BJP.
