Eve Barlow has become a new name in the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial to dominate social media conversations as fans await the jury verdict anytime soon. Barlow on Monday put up a fierce defence in favour Amber Heard as she wrote on Twitter, “Trolls: “he’s moving on with his life, she should too.” She can’t. She has to wait for a verdict. He’s on tour. It wasn’t about the verdict for him. It was about the opportunity of a trial to further his abuse. Whatever the verdict, he continues freely. She does not.”
Who is Eve Barlow And What Is Her Relationship With Amber Heard?
Eve Barlow is a 36-year-old Scottish journalist, who hails from Giffnock, in the southside of Glasgow. Her relevance to the Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp defamation trial is due to her association with NME, where she worked as a deputy editor in the past.
She’s been seen spending times with Amber Heard and her new baby, Oonagh. She was also seen occupying the front row with Heard’s legal team in the courtroom. According to the local American media, both Barlow and Heard have been inseparable in the recent weeks.
London’s Mail newspaper reported, “” Eve has been a huge support to Amber during the trial. She is an open person and has spoken proudly about their relationship.”
Barlow landed herself in trouble last week when the judge hearing the trial took a dim view of her tweeting a texting during the court proceedings. Judge Azcarate reportedly told Barlow, “She was tweeting live from my courtroom … and I know the deputies took her out because she was texting. That’s against the court order. Ms. Barlow is not coming back into the courtroom during this trial.”
