The Highland Park Police on Monday revealed the identity of the Illinois shooter, who had killed six people at the Independence Day parade and left over a dozen injured. According to the police, the suspected killer is a white male, identified as Robert E. Crimo III. He was driving a 2010 silver Honda Fit with Illinois vehicle registration number DM80653.
He’s believed to be a son of a mayoral candidate who lost in the 2019 election.
The Illinois killer operated a Facebook account in his own name, Robert Crimo. But it seems the social media platform has removed his page after his name was revealed by the security agencies.
Many users shared some of his past social media posts. In one post, shared on 29 May 2021, the suspected Illinois killer had written, “You’re all sinners.”
Immediately after his name was revealed, eagle-eyed social media users were quick to dig out his photos from his now-deleted social media accounts. Here are some of them.
The police have begun grilling the killer and will soon find out the real motive behind the carnage caused by Robert E. Crimo III.
