Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik has alleged that he was being framed the way the central government agencies framed his former cabinet colleague Anil Deshmukh.
“When I was outside India on a foreign tour, two people were seen clicking photos outside my house. They ran away after they were chased by motorcycles…After we shared their photos on social media, the ordinary public revealed their vehicle registration numbers etc. Some people said that these people were seen at the Regional Transport Office.”
Malik said that he would share their details with the Mumbai Police Commissioner since he has received a lot of evidence about those individuals snooping at him. He said that the government was trying to frame him the same way Anil Deshmukh was harassed in false cases.
“I feel they are playing the same game with me the way they treated Anil Deshmukh,” Malik said.
Deshmukh was a former Maharashtra Home Minister, who was arrested by the central government agency.
Malik on Friday had shared photos of two individuals sitting in a car. They, according to the Maharashtra minister, were trying to carrying out a recce of his house and schools where his grandchildren studied.

Malik has been relentlessly exposing NCB officer Sameer Wankhede for his alleged role in forging documents to secure a government job and extorting money from Shah Rukh Khan by arresting his son Aryan Khan in a false case.
Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB on 3 October from a Goa-bound cruise. He was released on 28 October after the Bombay High Court granted him bail. The celebrity son had to spend several weeks inside Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail.
