Sudhir Chaudhary of Zee News has said that he had tested negative for coronavirus nearly a month after he had to be hospitalised after testing positive. Sudhir, who anchors the prime time show of Zee News every night, said that he was ‘ready to return to work.’ Meanwhile, Arnab Goswam’s prolonged absence from TV has continued to baffle netizens on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Sudhir wrote, “Happy to share some POSITIVE news with you. I have tested covid NEGATIVE. Recovered and ready to return to work. But before I do that, I want to thank all of you for your #GetWellSoon wishes and prayers. Join me LIVE on Facebook at 5pm tomorrow.”

The TV anchor’s supporters welcomed the news of his recovery as one wrote, “Good news of joining studio. India need Sudhir, Take care.We are passing very crucial time India being invited to G7 with upgraded to D 10…We hope Lord Jagannath made you stronger than ever to put your voice.” Another commented, “Finally the Waiting time ended at 9pm every night……” The Sudhir Chaudhary Is Back”….. Last week, Sudhir announced that he was finally being discharged from the hospital after his recovery from COVID-19. While his supporters had wished him well, others had advised him to start his new life in the service of humanity and truth.
