Actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput were blessed with baby boy on Wednesday evening, reported Times of India. This was after Mira was rushed to Hinduja Hospital, where, among others, Mira’s mother was also spotted.
Shahid’s brother half-brother Ishaan Khatter and his mother Neelima Azim too were spotted outside the hospital. The couple already have a daughter, Misha, who turned two last month.
Mira’s pregnancy has been a topic of intense media coverage all throughout this year. Shahid too had taken a break to be with his wife during the last stage of her pregnancy. The Padmaavat actor, who’s currently awaiting his next big release Batti Gul Meter Chalu, had chosen to be only in Mumbai for the film’s promotion.
Bhushan Kumar, who is producing both Battu Gul Meter Chalu and Arjun Reddy, had fondly spoken about Shahid’s professionalism. “Shahid is a committed actor who believes in striking a balance between his personal and professional life. Being a parent is a special feeling. It is important that we make time for those closest to us. I understand Shahid’s need to be by his wife’s side at such a time,” Mid Day had quoted him as saying.
Shahid and Mira had got married in 2015 and Misha was born in August 2016.
Shahid recently bought a posh Rs 56 crore duplex in Worli after several reports said that the couple were hassled with the growing menace of prostitution in their Juhu neighbourhood.
