The Facebook page of Tamasha unveiled the film’s trailer on Tuesday.
Director Imtiaz Ali released the trailer with a short note on the film’s official Facebook page. He writes, “Tamasha is a film with many faces but a simple heart. We present today the first trailer of the movie. Hope you like it.–Imtiaz Ali.”

Actress Deepika Padukone also shared the trailer with her fans and followers on her Twitter account and titled it as, ‘Tamasha Time’.

The three-minute trailer begins with actor Ranbir Kapoor explaining his life’s story to his father, Javed Sheikh. Ranbir and Deepika are seen having fun in Corsica, (where most of the film is shot), befriending and then departing like it happens in every film.
Nevertheless, the film’s trailer shows off the tagline, ‘Why always the same story?’ which could also be spotted on the poster, released by the actress on her Twitter account.
Presented under the banner of UTV Motion pictures, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala whereas the music is by A.R.Rahman.
Tamasha is scheduled to release on 27 November.
