UAE Princess Hend bint Faisal Al-Qasimi on Monday mocked Sudhir Chaudhary after the controversial Zee News anchor shared a series of photos of his temple visit in Abu Dhabi. Chaudhary was invited by the Abu Dhabi chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as a ‘distinguished’ speaker.
Sharing photos of his temple visit, Chaudhary tweeted, “Building tolerance, brick by brick. Visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan temple in Abu Dhabi. Offered prayers and laid a brick of my faith at the foundation of what’s being called the monument of religious harmony in the UAE.”
Hend, who’s been opposing Chaudhary’s visit to the UAE, reacted swiftly to call out the known Islamophobe’s hypocrisy. She wrote, “Notice the hypocrisy of how now he preaches tolerance after he openly wanted to start a genocide on Muslims. Yet, he comes to a Muslim country that taught him that we can all live together in peace.”

Hend posted another short tweet with hashtag #Tihari for Chaudhary. The Zee News anchor had to spend time in Delhi’s Tihar jail after videos of his alleged attempts to extort Rs. 100 crore from an Indian businessman went viral. Since then, his critics have been ridiculing him by addressing him as ‘Tihari.’
Hend had earlier addressed Chaudhary as an ‘intolerant terrorist’ for his history of spewing venom against Indian Muslims and Islam. The UAE princess had also publicly shamed Neeraj Ritolia, the president of the Abu Dhabi chapter of the ICAI, for his refusal to disinvite Chaudhary.
Many had urged the UAE government to terminate the employment visa of Ritolia and deport the man for inviting a known Islamophobe to an Islamic kingdom. Ritolia has chosen to not comment on the controversy. Chaudhary too has decided to stay quiet knowing fully well that he simply cannot afford to criticse a member of the UAE royalty.
