Prabhakar Sail said in his five-page affidavit, “At around 1 am I received a call from K P Gosavi instructing me that I should sign as a Pancha and called me to the NCB office. I reached there and Sameer Wankhede instructed the staff to take my signature and name. One Salerkar from NCB told me to sign on 10 blank papers…”

Sail said in his affidavit that he was sent photos of some individuals on WhatsApp by Gosavi on 2 October. Gosavi allegedly asked him to wait the gate of the Goa-bound cruise and identify if any of the individuals in the photos were boarding the cruise. He said that he had identified one individual and informed Gosavi about it. Gosavi later told him that 13 people had been arrested from the cruise.

Sail, was named as one of the nine witnesses by the NCB in the Aryan Khan’s arrest case, also alleged the exchange of money.

He said that he heard Gosavi speak with one Sam D’Souza about one Rs. 18 crore deal of which Rs. 8 crore was meant to be paid to NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. According to Sail’s affidavit, he was present in the car when Gosavi spoke to D’Souza.

Sail alleged that Gosavi held a meeting with D’Souza and Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani in a car the same evening. The NCB witness added that he received the cash from Gosavi and personally delivered it to D’Souza.

Sameer Wankhede, according to NDTV, has denied allegations saying that he would give a fitting reply soon.
