Jasmeen Wankhede, the sister of Sameer Wankhede, has lost her cool at Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik for alleging that the controversial NCB officer had visited the Maldives and Dubai to extort money from Bollywood stars. Jasmeen Wankhede, whose social media profile describes her as a criminal lawyer, also threatened legal action against Malik for sharing photos from her Instagram account without her authorisation.
Reacting to Malik’s allegations, Jasmeen Wankhede wrote, “We heard a minister called @nawabmallik doesn’t have guts to face my brother , thus he steals my private Instagram pics just to prove what a coward he is !! Less do u know mallikbhai posting unauthorised pics of a woman is a crime-and what do u prove with these pics ? Nothing !!!”

Malik had earlier taken to social media to claim that Sameer Wankhede visited the Maldives and Dubai. While NCB DDG Ashok Mutha Jain denied any knowledge on Wankhede’s visit to Dubai, he confirmed that the controversial officer had indeed visited the Maldives. “During Covid, the entire (film) industry was in Maldives… Officer and his family were also there. Sameer Wankhede has to explain about his visit to Dubai & Maldives. We are sure that this ‘ugahi’ happened in Maldives, Dubai; will give you photos soon,” ANI had quoted Malik as saying.
He later shared photos from Jasmeen Wankhede’s Instagram account to show how Sameer Wankhede was sitting in Dubai’s Grand Hyatt hotel. Sameer Wankhede later said that photos were clicked at the Mumbai airport. But, while sharing the photos, Jasmeen had claimed that they were in Dubai’s Grand Hyatt hotel.
Her caption had read, “Finally vacations..#dubailife #dubai.”
