Bollywood’s newest Mom Mira Rajput Kapoor has said that she was breastfeeding her new-born son Zain Kapoor and it was the greatest gift one could give to her baby.
“I have spoken about the importance of feeding the baby in the past too. I was extremely religious with Misha and I am going to do the same with my newborn. It is the greatest gift you can give your baby,” Mira was quoted as saying.
Laying emphasis on the importance of eating well staying happy, Mira said that she was conscious of not neglecting her first child, Misha Kapoor, who turned two last August.
She said, “This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that’s on its way is very important. Everything changes and you don’t want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she’s the centre of your world to feel neglected and ignored. That is very important.”
Mira gave birth to Zain earlier this month at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. Joining her at hospital were Shahid Kapoor, brother Ishaan Khattar, mother Neelima Azeem, Dad Pankaj Kapur and Mira’s mother, who had flown from Delhi.
Speaking about how Shahid and Mira decided to name their son, Zain Kapoor, the Padmaavat actor’s mother said that she had expressed her love for four names long ago.
“It was that it will be Misha if it is a girl (combination of Mira and Sasha) and if it is a boy, it will be Zain. Long back I had shared the name with Zain. I had told Shahid that I love 4 names- Shahid, Ishaan, Zain and Kaamraan,” she had said adding that with Zain’s birth her son’s family was now complete.
