Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik on Sunday said that he was expecting ‘some official guests’ from the central government at his house on Monday. Malik, who’s been relentlessly exposing the Narcotics Control Bureau in the Aryan Khan arrest case, has been expressing his fears of raids from the central government agencies.
Malik wrote on Sunday, “It has come to my knowledge that some official guests will be visiting my residence early morning tomorrow. I will be ready to welcome them wholeheartedly with tea and cookies. If they need the correct address, they can call me.”
Last month, Malik had said that he was not scared of central government agencies after the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids in connection with an alleged land scam case involving the Pune Waqf Board. The Waqf Board falls under Malik’s ministry in the Maharashtra government.
It has come to my knowledge that some official guests will be visiting my residence early morning tomorrow.
I will be ready to welcome them whole heartedly with tea and cookies.
If they need the correct address, they can call me.

Malik had told reporters last month, “News reports are claiming that now Nawab Malik will be in trouble as ED has taken up some cases pertaining to his ministry. I want to say ED is more than welcome and we will cooperate with them in every possible way.”
Malik had posted a similar tweet in Hindi earlier this month when he wrote, “Friends, I’ve heard that some guests are expected to visit me at my house tomorrow. Getting scared was akin to dying. We don’t have to feel scared, we have to fight. Gandhi ladhe the goron se, hum ladhenge choron se (Mahatma Gandhi had fought against the British, we will fight against thieves).”

Malik was instrumental in exposing the dirty job of the NCB in the aftermath of Aryan Khan’s arrest in October. He had revealed how NCB officer Sameer Wankhede had forged documents to avail reservation in the UPSC exams even though he was a Muslim. He was also the first to reveal the extortion angle in the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son.
