Several exit polls have predicted a complete rout for the National Democratic Alliance comprising the BJP and the JDU in Bihar. While India Today’s exit poll said that Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan was set to win between 139 and 161 seats in the 243-seat Bihar assembly, Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV too said that BJP-JDU combine may fall short of a majority. The prediction by Republic TV came amidst its founder Arnab Goswami spending the fourth night in a row in judicial custody. As expected, this became a topic of jokes for netizens.
The exit poll prediction by CNN News 18-Todays Chanakya has given a whopping 180 seats to the Mahagathbandhan, while the NDA is only expected to win 55 seats, according to its survey.
