Kabir Khan unveils Phantom’s first look on Twitter

Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan officially released the first look of his upcoming movie-Phantom and unveiled its poster on Twitter on Thursday evening.

Phantom is about the situation post 26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism.

Khan’s upcoming film stars Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif and the poster shows their bruised and blindfolded faces (wrapped in the Indian tricolour) with a tagline- ‘A story you wish was true’. In the background, Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Hotel is depicted in flames.

The film is an adaptation of S. Hussain Zaidi’s recent novel, ‘Mumbai Avengers’.  Zaidi has also written the screenplay for Phantom.

This is the first time Saif has worked with Khan, while for Katrina, this is the third time, having earlier starred in Khan’s ‘New York’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

Phantom is co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala and will hit the theaters on August 28. The official trailer will be out on 25th July.
