India inflict heavy defeat on hopeless England in 2nd T20 International


India on Saturday inflicted a heavy defeat on hopeless England in the second T20 International match, taking a 2-0 lead in the ongoing series.

Batting first, India made 170-8 in 20 overs with Ravindra Jadeja playing an unbeaten knock of 46 from 29 balls.

Chris Jordan picked up four wickets, while Richard Gleeson dismissed three Indian players on debut.

England’s run chase started on a disastrous note as they kept losing wickets at a regular interval. Moeen Ali was the top scorer with a knock of 35 runs from 21 balls.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal shared two wickets each.
