The arrival of a baby boy in the life of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput has made the family complete. Zain Kapoor, as the new child has been named, is a beautiful child, says Shahid’s mother, Neelima Azeem.
Neelima said that she kind of felt that Shahid and Mira were going to have a boy as their second child. Neelima, who has a second son in Ishaan Khattar from her second marriage after separating from Pankaj Kapur, said that the arrival of Zain had made Shahid’s family complete.
This is precisely what Pankaj Kapur and Shahid had said publicly soon after the birth of Zain last week. Shahid’s fans had overwhelmingly endorsed the name ‘Zain’ calling it a ‘beautiful.’ But not many knew how the family arrived at a consensus on ‘Zain.’
Neelima has finally ended the suspense and shared the story behind opting for Zain over other names. Speaking to a portal, Neelima said that she had ‘very strong feeling’ that they will get a son, this time. She said, “I had even shared it with them. I kind of saw a son in their arms in one of my dreams.”
Shahid’s mother said that although the name, Zain Kapoor, was decided mutually by her son and daughter-in-law, the decision was taken long before Mira even conceived her second child. She said that the name was decided at the ‘time of Misha’s birth.’
“It was that it will be Misha if it is a girl (combination of Mira and Sasha) and if it is a boy, it will be Zain. Long back I had shared the name with Zain. I had told Shahid that I love 4 names- Shahid, Ishaan, Zain and Kaamraan.”
So, if it wasn’t for Zain, Shahid and Mira would surely have named their second child Kaamraan. This clearly shows the kind of respect Shahid gives to his mother. Neelima said that she was very thankful to God for Zain’s arrival in the family. Shje said, “It’s wonderful. Shahid and Mira are complete. I am in the best phase of my life. Misha has been the love of my life ever since she was born. And now, Zain joins her. He is a beautiful child. We all have toiled very hard in our lives and now just reaping happiness. God has been kind.”
Shahid Kapoor is currently awaiting the release of his next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which is scheduled to release on 21 September.
