IAS topper Tina Dabi’s public display of love for husband Athar Aamir Khan on Eid will melt your hearts


IAS topper Tina Dabi has been truly an inspiration for her generation in several ways. She defied social stigma to publicly announce her love for fellow UPSC topper Athar Aamir Khan.

Tina got married to Aamir, a Kashmiri Muslim, earlier this year and since then has declared herself as a proud Kashmiri bahu. Their love story has inspired many, not just the civil services aspirants across the country.

Tina’s public conduct and her ability to engage with her fans with her regular goings on has also left millions mesmerised. Tina’s social media posts, particularly on Instagram, often elicit thousands of likes and comments with the dominating theme of those reactions being all-round praises for her extraordinary personality.

Tina celebrated her first Eid al-Adha after getting married to Aamir on Wednesday and, as expected, she took to Instagram to share her joy with her fans. Attired in a tradition ethnic India salwar suit, Tina posted a photo of herself with a caption, “Eid done right.”

As always, ‘U look gorgeous,’ and ‘You are my inspiration’ comments flew thick and fast in response to Tina’s beautiful photo.

A day later, she posted another photo with husband Aamir, who was dressed in black topSeemingly standing inside a mall, the couple looked madly in love. And if there was any doubt, Tina’s caption said it all. Posting the photo, the affable IAS topper wrote, “Its the little things that you do, that make me love you the most.”

Their fans were quick to declare them a ‘perfect couple.’ This is the first time Tina has publicly declared her love for Aamir since tying the knot in April this year. Tina has recently taken up a new role as an assistant secretary in the central government’s Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. Aamir, on the other hand, has  joined the Union Ministry of Tourism as an assistant secretary level officer.
