IAS topper Tina Dabi may not have expected such a quick separation from her second husband Dr. Pradeep Gawande so soon after her marriage. In a new order by the Rajasthan government, Tina has been shunted out of Jaipur for a new role as the District Collector of Jaisalmer, her husband Pradeep has been sent to Udaipur. Earlier both were based in Jaipur. The development came amidst Tina’s first husband Athar Aamir Khan announcing his engagement with Dr. Mehreen Qazi.
An order by the Rajasthan government said, “Following Indian Administrative Service officers are transferred to with immediate effect in the interest of the state.”
Tina Dabi, who was serving with the state government as a Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, has been directed to take charge as the new District Collector and District Magistrate of Jaisalmer. She will replace Dr. Pratibha Singh, who’s been transferred to Jaipur as the Director of Panchayati raj.
Pradeep, who was serving as the Joint Administrative Secretary in the Education Department of the Rajasthan government in Jaipur, has been told to take charge as the Managing Director of Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited and Director (Petroleum) in Udaipur.
The distance between Jaisalmer and Udaipur is close to 500 kms.
Tina and Pradeep tied the knot in accordance with Buddhist rituals in April this year. This was the second marriage for Tina, who was earlier married to Athar Aamir Khan. Both Tina and Athar ended their marriage through a mutual divorce in 2021.

Meanwhile, Athar too has announced his engagement with Dr. Mehreen Qazi, who has an MD degree in medicine. Athar too was earlier posted in Jaipur but had opted for a transfer back to his native city of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.

Tina has not reacted to the recent transfer order, which would severely impact her personal life. She took to Instagram to share a series of photos and a video of herself with husband Pradeep from a beach holiday with a caption that read, “Becoming one with the waves 🌊.”
