Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt received a boost to her initiative to educate underprivileged children through an NGO, Salaam Bombay Foundation, from none other than the affable Archana Puran Singh of The Kapil Sharma Show. But the Raazi actor’s video appeal on education India’s financially challenged children did not go down well with fans of late Sushant Singh Rajput as they began to attack for her old comments on Koffee With Karan.
Sharing Alia’s video appeal, Archana wrote, “Underprivileged children need our help to continue their education inspite of the digital divide that the pandemic has created. @salaambbayorg is helping #bridgethegap. Donate generously please. To donate, click the link in my bio. It’s a great cause. #circleofhope.”
No sooner did Archana endorse Alia’s appeal for donation, plenty of users began to attack the latter for her comments on Sushant. One wrote, “Sorry but if u had even an ounce of wisdom, let alone education, u would have not asked “sushant who”? He was doing everything for underprivileged. He did not wait for a pandemic to do that. U guys are doing all this to promote yourself bcoz u know people forget.. U can fool people again.. Sadly they do.. But mamdo it consistently not just for your own publicity.” Another commented addressing Archana, “We respect you mam but not Aliya don’t like to her face too .. sorry ma’am.”
“Mam… I like you❤️❤️ not Alia bhatt.. Sorry !,” wrote another user. One more user wrote, “Sorry mam Can’t trust them.” According to another user, “Stop doing PR mam…. we didn’t expect this from you ????????”

Sushant Singh Rajput died last year in June after his body was found in his apartment. While it was claimed that Sushant died by suicide, his fans had suspected foul play. The government had to order a CBI inquiry into his death.
Alia Bhatt had lost a whopping 10 lakh followers on Instagram as angry Sushant fans attacked her for her old comments about the late actor. This was because in an old video from Koffee With Karan, Alia Bhatt was seen saying that whilst she will marry Ranbir Kapoor, she will prefer to kill Sushant and hook up with Ranveer Singh. Although this was a part of her response to an imaginary situation created by Karan, this had not gone down well with fans.
Archana is currently in the US since her Sony TV show is off air. The popular actor had flown to the US before the lockdown was imposed across India by various state governments.
