Heartwarming throwback photos of Nita Ambani’s daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta distributing food among poor children are internet sensation

Shloka Mehta, the daughter-in-law of India’s richest couple Mukesh and Nita Ambani, came for considerable media scrutiny for the jaw-dropping price of her heels that she wore to attend a retirement bash of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently. Days later, the Ambani bahu is once again setting the internet ablaze with her throwback photos of helping Mumbai’s not-so-fortunate children.

Sharing the photos, one fan account of Shloka and her husband Akash Ambani wrote on Instagram, “#Throwback to the year 2016 – Shloka di with her family, friends and volunteers distributed around 200 home prepared meals in an area in south mumbai on Independence Day 2016!!? We are all hearts for these pictures! Just look at those happy smiles on kids face.”

In the photo, Shloka is seen distributing food among Mumbai’s kids before posing for the camera with some of her ‘friends.’ The photos have become a topic of intense discussion with many applauding the Ambani bahu for her kindness towards the poor. In one photo, Shloka is seen smiling at the camera with some children, while she is seen taking care of the distribution of home-cooked meals.

Last week Shloka had turned up at a party organised by Yuvraj Singh with her husband Akash. Dressed in an off-shoulder white top tucked in into a light blue pleated skirt, she looked stunning. If that was not enough she had enhanced her fashion quotient with a pair of delicate diamond earrings and a white band studded watch. As for her shoes, she had gone for Sophia Webster’s iconic butterfly heels. The heels, in particular, had evoked plenty of reactions on social media because of its exorbitant price.

The heels chosen by Shloka is believed to cost in excess of Rs 50,000.

Only a few days ago, Nita Ambani’s handbag costing Rs 2.6 crore had become a topic of intense social media discussion.
