In a major development, FBI agents have been spotted rolling a refrigerator into a home linked to the father of missing 8-year-old Harmony Montgomery in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Tuesday. This has triggered speculations on whether a breakthrough has already been made in the case of Harmony, who went missing in 2019.
The sign of FBI agents rolling a refrigerator usually means that they are on the lookout of forensic evidence of a dead body. The house where FBI agents were spotted on Tuesday was once the abode of Harmony’s father Adam and stepmother Kayla.
Harmony’s mother Crystal Sorey is bracing herself for the tragic confirmation of her child’s death as she told Boston 25 News. A reporter from Boston 25 News tweeted, “I just got off the phone with Harmony Montgomery’s mother, Crystal Sorey, to ask her about the ongoing search on Union Street in Manchester. “This is rough. I know in my heart this is no longer a rescue mission. They’re looking for a body”.”
What Happened to Harmony Montgomery?
Little Harmony was last seen alive in October 2019. However, even after her disappearance, the cops only came to know about the matter two years later.
A record by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families shows Harmony spent time between her mother’s care and DCF for the most part of her young life. At the age of five, Harmony was placed in the custody of her father Adam in 2019 when she was five.
Adam’s brother Michael has reportedly told the cops that 31-year-old physically abused Harmony, resulting in a black eye. This was subsequently confirmed by Adam’s uncle, who told the police that Adam confirmed to him in July 2019 tabout bashing little Harmony around the house.
According to the court documents, Adam lost his cool at Harmony, then five, because she had failed to look after her brother, who was found to be crying. Adam spanked his five-year-old daughter and made her stand in the corner for several hours. On opnce occasion the monster father made his own five-year-old daughter clean the toilet using her toothbrush.
It is suspected that Adam killed his daughter and disposed off her body in the house where he previously lived with Kayla.
