Bollywood actress Disha Patani has made a stunning disclosure about her father not feeling comfortable with her sexy photos that have trended on the internet in the past. Disha, who has faced incessant trolling due to her decision to share racy photos on social media platforms, told a newspaper recently that her Dad felt ‘awkward’ seeing those pictures.
“I know my parents are watching me. They know it’s work, and I am not doing anything wrong. I am sure they are proud of me. Of course, my father feels awkward whenever I send my pictures on the family [WhatsApp] group. After all, he is a father,” Disha told Times of India in a recent interview.
She, however, clarified that her parents were not against her career in films. She also went on to reveal that her Mom stalked her on Instagram. She said, “My mother is on Instagram now but with a different name. She stalks me, so I don’t send the pictures anymore.”
Disha’s upcoming film Bharat is all set to release on 5 June coinciding Eid. The Salman Khan-starrer Eid release will also feature Katrina Kaif and Jacky Shroff, father of her reported boyfriend Tiger Shroff.
Her dance number particularly Slow Motion with Salman Khan in the film has set the internet on fire, clocking over 72 million views on YouTube.
In Bharat, Disha is playing the role of a trapeze artist in a circus. She had recently dropped a bombshell of sorts by announcing that she may never work with Salman Khan again because of the age gap between the two.
Disha has found herself at the centre of raging controversies on several occasions because of her decision to wear sexy outfits at religious occasions. Last year, the Baaghi 2 actress had greeted Hindus on their festival of Diwali by wearing a bra and a lehenga. She courted another controversy when she wished Merry Christmas to Christians in a bikini.
But the constant criticism has not deterred the popular actor from posing for the camera in just undergarments. Disha Patani had made her Bollywood debut in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Since then, her career graph in Bollywood has travelled in an upward direction.
