Sharing throwback photos on social media has acquired a sort of trend for Bollywood artists lately. Not so long ago, Karan Johar had shared a throwback photo from his album and asked us to recognise cute looking Sonakshi Sinha.
The photo shared by Karan had truly gone viral and even trended on Google for hours. Days later, Ileana D’cruz had shared her childhood photo with a caption, “Not much has changed.” Then, actor Arjun Kapoor took to share a throwback photo of himself with Katrina Kaif to wish the actress on her birthday.
Now Deepika Padukone has taken to her Instagram page to share a throwback photo of her childhood with a caption, “tomboy…then,now & forever.” In the photo, a chubby looking cute Deepika is seen posing for camera while riding her tricycle. She indeed looks unrecognisable.
Deepika’s fans reacted with an awe as many said that the actress was looking indeed very cute in her throwback photo. One fan wrote, “You’re the cutest.” Another user commented, “Little miss ruff rider.” One fan addressed her as ‘bhabhiji (sister-in-law)’ in reference to her planned wedding with Ranveer Singh later this year. “Cutie then now and forever! Sign films,” wrote another fan.
There are reports that both Deepika and Ranveer have embarked on the wedding preparation. Earlier this week, Deepika and Ranveer were spotted outside India, holidaying together. While Deepika was dressed in a white T-shirt and black coloured jeans, Ranveer was seen diligently following the actress in a white T-shirt behind her. As they walked, one fan, who was recording the video shouted, ‘Oh My God. So cute.”
