Colors TV’s popular reality show Bigg Boss saw another round of heated exchange of words between Siddharth Shukla and Rashami Desai as Salman Khan made desperate attempts to bring a truce between them. The tension between the two actors in the house has prompted many to speculate if they were in a romantic relationship before taking part in the reality show. Even though Rashami has previously denied such assertions, Siddharth almost confirmed during this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar show as he told Salman Khan that there was nothing left between him and Rashami as he had ‘moved on.’
Siddharth’s stating that he had ‘moved on’ has now almost confirmed all those speculations about his relationship with Rashami. Siddharth, however, found plenty of support from Salman Khan on Saturday night as he appeared to side with him.
Rashami and Siddharth had acted in popular TV series Dil Se Dil Tak until the show was taken off air. This was after both Siddharth and Rashami quit the show. Recounting her association with Siddharth while shooting for Dil Se Dil Tak, Rashami had told Devoleena Bhattacharjee last week, “Wo (Siddharth) gaaliyon se marta tha, mai pyaar se. Usne production walo se bola mujhe nikalne ko. Unko problem hoti thi humare jhagdo se par unhone isko nikala. Baad me maine be show chor diya aur fir show band bhi ho gaya (He used to target me with abuses and I would respond with love. He even told the production guys to kick me out of the show but they kicked him out instead. Later I, too quit the show and it went off air).”
During Saturday’s episode, Siddharth and Paras Chhabra competed with each other with the former being declared the winner since five housemates voted in his favour as opposed to four votes received by Paras. This helped Siddharth earn a power card. Siddharth was later served shrikhand, a traditional Indian dessert, made of strained curd.
Rashami, Asim Riaz and Mahira Sharma have been declared safe and will not face evictions tonight.
