BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was recently engaged in a public banter with his daughter Sana after she took a potshot at his mood in a photo posted from inside Eden Gardens. On that occasion, Sourav had left his daughter speechless after she teased him about his grumpy mood while posing for the camera. Days later, Sourav has decided to tease Sana with his cheeky one-liner.

Sana and sugar … sugar much easier to deal with

No sooner did the former India captain share the Instagram post, his fans began to appreciate him for his quirky caption. One wrote, “Your sense of humor is epic…” Another commented, “Hahahaha ! That can only be said by a dad !” “What a witty caption dada,” commented another fan.

Last month, Sourav and Sana were engaged in public banter after Sana pulled her Dad’s leg by commenting on his seemingly grumpy mood in a photo taken from inside Eden Gardens soon after India defeated Bangladesh in their first-ever pink-ball Test. Sana, who recently celebrated her 18th birthday, had asked Sourav why he was looking grumpy in his photo. The father came up with an equally witty response, declaring his daughter ‘disobedient.’

At the india today conclave today

A post shared by SOURAV GANGULY (@souravganguly) on

Speaking at a conclave by India Today in Kolkata on Friday, Sourav said that opting for the day-night Test match made common sense. “Test cricket needs to be marketed well. Also I feel it’s about time. People do not have time to watch Test cricket in the morning. It came out from common sense,” Ganguly was quoted as saying.

Sourav is married to classical dancer Dona Ganguly, who gave birth to Sana in 2001. Sourav is credited with bringing about the revolution in Indian cricket by leading the team to start winning on foreign soil. He was recently elected as the BCCI President unopposed.
