Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan this week flew back to India from Bulgaria, where he was shooting for Brahmastra, after hearing the news of daughter Shweta Nanda’s father-in-law Rajan Nanda’s death. Nanda had died on 5 August.
The condolence meet was held in Mumbai on Tuesday after Nanda was cremated. Among those who attended the prayer meet also included Bachchan family. However, one photo from the condolence meet has now become a topic of intense conversation on social media, where Abhishek Bachchan is facing brutal trolling by user.
Fans are unhappy on Abhishek being spotted smiling at what was a somber gathering. One fan wrote, “I don’t know why he is looking so happy.” Another fan added sarcastically, “because all the property has come to the sister now finally the brother has a reason to live!” Another fan said that the gathering looked more like an excuse to celebrate than mourn someone’s death.
Reacting to Nanda’s death, Bachchan had tweeted, “”My relative Mr Rajan Nanda, Nikhil’s Father, Father-in-Law of Shweta, .. just passed away .. leaving for India.” He had added, “”Yes, the personal tragedy is now in discloser and transmitted but it had a lead a lead of distress and anxiety and apprehension from a time of some immediate length the obvious nested facts were not pressed into the print of this page, but there were hidden hints of them in it. My hidden heart can bleed within unseen but it takes not away the pain of its emission.”
Rajan Nanda was a renowned industrialist and also veteran actor Raj Kapoor’s son-in-law. He was declared dead in Haryana’s Gurgaon on Sunday.
Earlier this year, Jacqueline Fernandez had faced trolling after a smiling photo of her had surfaced on social media. The photo of Jacqueline smiling at a mourning meet had not gone down well with social media users, who condemned the actor for her insensitivity.
