At least five people have died after a building collapsed in India’s national capital on Wednesday. Among those killed are four children and a woman, reported ANI.
They died after a three-storey building collapsed near Sawan Park in Phase 3 area. Eight people have been rescued out of which three are in believed to be in critical condition.
The injured have been rushed to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, NDTV reported quoting police. wo teams of National Disaster Response Force have been engaged in service for the rescue operation.

The woman, killed in the building collapse, has been identified as Munni. As for the children they include the wo brothers, aged around 10 years, a boy and his sister aged below five years.
The police said that they received the call about the collapse at 9.20 am on Wednesday. They were able to quickly rush six fire tenders to the spot. Civic body officials said that the building was more than 20 year old.
