Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has sensationally claimed that 3% divorce in Mumbai took place due to the city’s traffic jam. She made the extraordinary claim in conversation with reporters. The former chief minister’s wife is facing ridicule with a Shiv Sena MP asking her to take a holiday break.
“I’m saying this as a common citizen, not as Devendra Fadnavis’ wife. Once I go out I see several issues including potholes and traffic jams. Due to traffic, people are unable to give time to their families and 3% of divorces in Mumbai are happening due to it.”

Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi replied saying that Amruta Fadnavis needed a holiday break. “Best (il)logic of the day award goes to the lady who claims 3% Mumbaikars are divorcing due to traffic on roads. Please take a holiday break rather than having a mind on brake.. Bengaluru families please avoid reading this, can prove fatal for your marriages,” Chaturvedi said.
