Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami has often found himself at the receiving end for his blind support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thereby making a mockery of independent journalism in India. Criticism for him has grown considerably since he founded Republic TV with the help of BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Last month, a CPI-M leader Fuad Halim, left him stunned after he called him impotent. This was after Goswami conducted a debate on a statement by a Congress leader in Karnataka, calling Modi a Namard.
B Narayan Rao had said that those who were Namard could only get married but could not have children. He had added that while Modi could get married, he ‘can’t have children.’ “This is not a PM who works, but a PM who lies,” he had said.
During the debate Goswami started his show by asking Halim to explain what Namard meant. Much to his discomfort and shock, Halim said, “Namard the word can be exemplified by Arnab Goswami and your character. You are a namard. You are the person, who actually signifies what Namard means” He didn’t stop here. “You don’t have to search for any other reason or any other explanation when you have Arnab Goswami in front of you. Because that is what the meaning of Namard is. A person who doesn’t have the capacity to fulfill his journalistic responsibility. And that’s what you are. You are fundamentally a Namard Arnab Goswami,” Halim added.
An upset Goswami replied, “Fuad, are you feeling alright? You need some medical help?” Halim replied, “Your skin is so thick Arnab Goswami that farmers, who are committing suicide, don’t matter to you.”
An angry Goswami called his CPI-M guest ‘shameless’ and accused him of begging for a seat to the Congress. Goswami, who appeared visibly rattled, said, “Today he (Halim) has got a nice kick from the Congress, so he doesn’t know what to do, so he’s practiced this all day on what he’s going to say on my show.”
Although the debate in question was broadcast last month, its content has gone viral now after a Congress supporter, Vinay Kumar Dokania, shared it on Twitter.
This is outrageously hilarious.
Poor Arnab, this got into his skin quite badly…
Never ever ever ever ever ever did anyone demolish Arnab Goswami in such a Savage way like this gentleman did on LIVE debate.

Dr Fuad Halim is contesting this year’s Lok Sabha polls as the CPI-M candidate from West Bengal’s Diamond Harbour parliamentary constituency against Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
