HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar spoke to the CBSE class 12 toppers on Sunday morning.
Raksha said, “My aim was not to get the top marks but to do well. My strategy was to fully focus on my subjects. My school helped a lot along with all teachers. We were made to take many mock tests. They cleared all my doubts.”
Pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 exam fell to 82 percent as opposed to 83.05 per cent last year.
The CBSE class 12 results were declared on Sunday morning. A total of 19,85,397 students from Classes 10 and 12 had registered for this year’s exam.
This year’s results had run into huge controversy after board first decided to remove the Marks Moderation Policy. It had taken the intervention of Delhi High Court, which ordered the board directing it to refrain from changing the rules last minute.
After contemplating moving the Supreme Court, the board decided against it as the process would have delayed the results further. Over 10 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 examination this year.
