Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been dubbed insensitive both by his political rivals and social media users for his decision to hold election rally in Agra on a day 120 people died in a tragic train accident in another Uttar Pradesh city, Kanpur.

His party colleagues told audience that Modi was incredibly moved by Kanpur’s train accident and therefore ‘instructed’ them to not welcome him with flowers.

Meanwhile, Janata Dal United had cancelled all its programmes to mark one year of forming government in Bihar.

There were many who called Modi insensitive and reminded how he had wasted no time in visiting Kerala’s temple disaster when the election campaign in the state was at its peak.
