The third day of play in the second Test between England and India on Saturday witnessed a comical scene after a pitch invader claimed his place in the Virat Kohli’s side, leaving Mohammed Siraj in splits.

This was after the play had to be briefly stopped following an incident of pitch invasion by a man wearing an Indian team jersey with the ‘Jarvo’ name printed on his back. In a hilarious development, the invader was seen claiming to be a member of the Indian as he pointed towards the BCCI logo.

The development cracked India’s fast bowler Siraj, who burst into laughter. Several other Indian players too found the incident amusing.

English commentators too saw the funny side and laughed hysterically.

England were bowled out for 391 with skipper Joe Root remaining not out at 180. India were all out for 364 in their first innings. Root went on to become the second English player to go past 9,000 runs. He also became the fastest to reach the milestone as he took just 8 years and 242 days.
