Amid raging controversy on Rohingya refugees living in India, Uttar Oradesh government has announced that it will identify the illegal immigrants staying in the state.
@CMOfficeUPAccording to media reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the police to identify, verify and deport any “foreign national” living in the state without a proper documentation.
Deputy chief minister, Keshav Maurya, said, “Rohingya Muslims are not refugees, they are illegal immigrants, there’s no place for them in UP. If we find any Rohingyas here, they will be sent packing.”

The diktat by Yogi government comes amidst the matter related to Rohingya refugees living in India is being heard by the Supreme Court.
The Centre’s Narendra Modi government had decided to deport 40,000 Rohingya refugees back to Myanmar, where more than 4 lakh of their community members have had to escape the persecution from Buddhist terrorists backed by Myanmar government.
