A girl on Saturday committed suicide by reportedly jumping off the top floor of Noida’s posh GIP Mall. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday morning.
Cops were quick to arrive at the suicide spot and take her body for post-mortem. The police had yet to identify the deceased. The girl, believed to be in her 20s, was reportedly upset with her boyfriend.
Dressed in pink T-shirt and black trouser, her body was lying in the pool of blood inside the mall. A shop owner in the mall said that he heard a loud noise. “When we came out, we saw the girl lying in a pool of blood. She had died immediately after falling on the floor. We then called the police, who arrived in no time.”
The station in-charge of Sector 39 police station, A Dikshit, told Janta Ka Reporter that the girl had left a suicide note. “She wrote in her note that her boyfriend wasn’t speaking to her. This had caused depression to her.”
GIP Mall, which is often described as the biggest shopping complex in the whole of north India, is situated in Sector 38 of Noida, adjacent to Delhi.
Only last week, 11 members of a family had shockingly committed a mass suicide by blindfolding and gagging themselves before hanging from the ceiling in Delhi’s Burari area.
