Two US journalists have died after fatal shooting during a live TV report in American state of Virginia.
According to the TV station, the journalists killed were 24-year-old WDBJ7 TV reporter Alison Parker and 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward during an interview in Moneta, Bedford County.
Their employers have confirmed the news of their death.
WDBJ7, on its website, said that this happened during a live broadcast around 6:45 a.m adding that the police were looking for a suspect who apparently opened fire on their photographer Adam Ward and reporter Alison Parker.
During the live broadcast, shots could be heard, sending the reporter and the person she was interviewing a female guest on top a building. There are no reports of any injuries to the guest being interviewed by the guest.
“We do not know the motive. We do not know who the suspect or who the killer is,” the station’s general manager, Jeffrey Marks, said.
The screen grab shared on social media of the suspect is apparently black-clad man opening fire at the journalists.
