Republican party’s American presidential hopeful Donald Trump was engaged in a bitter twitter spat with the Saudi Prince, Al-Waleed Bin-Talal, who called him a ‘disgrace to all America’ on Saturday.
The billionaire business turned politician, Trump, on 8 December had sent shock waves through the political establishment with a call to bar Muslims from entering the US until lawmakers figure out what is going on.
“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” a campaign press release had said.
Prince Bin-Talal, on Saturday, took to twitter to condemn Trump for his controversial comments about Muslims.
His tweet read:
.@realDonaldTrump
You are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America.Withdraw from the U.S presidential race as you will never win.

Within hours of his tweet being posted, more than 19,000 people had shared it.
Trump, responded calling the Saudi prince a dopey accusing him of trying to control American politics through ‘daddy’s money’ which, according to him, won’t work after he’s elected.
Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy’s money. Can’t do it when I get elected. #Trump2016

Trump’s controversial comments, which many likened to bigotry, sparked off huge international outrage with more than a quarter million people signing an online petition in Britain demanding a ban on his future entry into the country.
In Dubai, where Trump has huge business interests, Dubai golf course and housing development had removed his name and image from those sites.
