Suryakumar Yadav replaces KL Rahul in India’s Test squad

Suryakumar Yadav has replaced KL Rahul in India’s Test squad for the upcoming two-match series against New Zealand.

The BCCI said that KL Rahul had sustained a muscle strain on his left thigh forcing him to be ruled out of the upcoming 2-match Test series against the Kiwis.

Rahul will now undergo rehabilitation at the NCA in preparation for the series against South Africa scheduled to start next month.

The first Test between India and New Zealand begins on 25 November in Kanpur, while the second match will take place from 3 December in Mumbai.

India had recently beaten New Zealand 3-0 in the T20 series.
