The newly-wed Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor has set internet on fire, and this time it has nothing to do with her wedding related photos or videos. The Veere Di Wedding actor posted a series of photos of her attire for the 71st Cannes International Film Festival on Instagram.
Sonam wore a Vera Wang couture gown for her second red-carpet appearance at Cannes 2018, causing a frenzy among her fans on social media platforms.
Sonam’s nude-hued Vera Wang gown has a corset flowing into a big tulle skirt. Sonam informed that her footwear was designed by Ralph and Russo while she wore jewellery designed by Chopard and Rhea Kapoor. In short, the actor looked every bit stunning. No other Bollywood actor was capable of pulling this gown off so brilliantly.
Earlier, Sonam had worn a combination of breathtaking fusion lehenga from Ralph and Russo on the red carpet at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. While posting the photos, Sonam had written, “All the stars are out tonight ✨ In Ralph & Russo.”
But it’s her latest Vera Wang dress that has caused more frenzy on social media platforms.

Sonam got married to her boyfriend Anand Ahuja on 8 May at a function in Mumbai. The actor choosing to have her wedding conducted according to Sikh rituals had made her a target of right-wing groups on social media platforms. Many right-wing social media users had termed her a ‘Hindu-hater.’ This was also because of Sonam’s extraordinary stand against the barbaric gang-rape and murder of an 9-year-old child in Kathua.
