An undercover operation by a portal Naradanews has revealed how it lured several high profile Trinamool Congress leaders into accepting bribe money against a favour it sought in the name of a fictitious company, Impex Consultancy.
In the 23 minutes long video posted on the website, the people behind this sting operation claim to have exposed senior Trinamool leaders including Sultan Ahmed, Saugata Roy, Mukul Roy, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Suvendhu Adhikari among others.
All the men filmed can be seen accepting bundle of cash (Rs 5 lakh each) with the promise that they will extend favours to the company and also help them in lobbying their case.
Interestingly, the video also shows one IPS officer called Mirza, who claims to be a conduit between the agents and the Trinamool leaders.
