Mulayam’s family feuds turn ugly, Shivpal publicly embarrasses Akhilesh by snatching his mic and calling him liar

Samajwadi Party’s internal differences came out in open on Sunday when Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav, sacked his uncle and cabinet minister in his government, Shivpal Yadav.

A video has now emerged showing just how bad the family feuds in Samajwadi Party camp has turned now.

In the video, Shivpal is shown snatching the microphone from Akhilesh calling him a liar.

Akhilesh is heard saying, “Amar Singh planted a story in Times of India calling me (Mughal ruler) Aurangzeb and my father Shahjahan. And Ashu Malik…”

But before Akhilesh could complete his sentence, Shivpal snatched his mic and said, “He’s lying. The chief minister is lying.”

Akhilesh supporters have accused Amar Singh of causing rift in the party and the family. Amar Singh was once expelled from the party and his return has made many including Akhilesh very angry.

Akhilesh loyalists believe that Amar’s return in the party has allegedly taken place at the behest of a Mumbai-based industrialist, known to be close to the ruling BJP to facilitate the saffron party’s win in the next year’s assembly elections.

In the first open attack on his nephew Akhilesh Yadav, Shivpal Yadav on Monday had claimed the chief minister had told him that he would float a new party to contest the upcoming Assembly polls, and urged SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav to “take over reins of Uttar Pradesh”.
