The Indian cricket board on Wednesday announced the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, to be played in the UAE. The notable inclusion in the team is of Shardul Thakur, who has replaced Axar Patel.
According to the BCCI, the All-India Senior Selection Committee after a discussion with the team management added Shardul Thakur to the main squad. All-rounder Axar Patel, who was part of the 15-member squad will now be on the list of standby players.
