A video of Hindu Yuva Vahini leader being publicly rebuked for causing social unrest with his hateful politics has gone viral on social media platforms.
In the video, a man, believed to be a cop, whose face can’t not be seen, is seen giving public dressing down to a Hindutva leader, who’s a teacher by profession, for attacking a journalist and snatching his mobile phone in Meerut district. The brave cop is heard saying, “I am forgiving you not because you are a Hindutva leader. Don’t ever be under this illusion that you have become above par with ordinary public. We don’t treat even the chief minister or prime minister special. You are getting the pardon because you are a teacher. We don’t want a teacher to go to jail.”
The Hindutva leader is then reminded about his duty as a teacher while also being warned that they should desist from turning India into a country akin to what Talibans have done in Pakistan. The man in the video also warns the Hindutva leader to stop ‘saffron terrorism’ while also asking him to resign as a teacher.
“Just tell me what kind of education are you imparting as a teacher? Will you divide the society just for power and money? If a teacher starts indulging in such acts, then the society is gone for a toss… If this is not stopped, then we will become worse than Talibans and you will be credited with that honour,” he adds.
The video has been shared nearly 30,000 times with half a million people already having viewed video.
The reported incident took place place last week when a group of Hindu Yuva Vahini supporters went on a rampage beating up some Muslims while also attacking journalists. Hindu Yuva Vahini was founded by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
