Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday posted a video of his small plane developing snag, thereby forcing it to return to Delhi.
Gandhi tweeted while posting the video, “Engine trouble on our flight to Patna today! We’ve been forced to return to Delhi. Today’s meetings in Samastipur (Bihar), Balasore (Orissa) & Sangamner (Maharashta) will run late. Apologies for the inconvenience.”

The video stops after Gandhi is heard saying ‘please switch it off otherwise they will say..’ In the video, a noise could be heard even as two pilots attempted to manouvre the small chartered plane.
Gandhi had faced another flight scare during Karnataka assembly elections last year, when his flight was believed to have experienced a ‘500 meter free fall’ as the altitude dipped steeply for unexplained reasons.
Gandhi’s close aide, Kaushal Vidyarthee, had lodged an official complaint with the Director General of Police in Karnataka alleging foul play behind the technical snag of the plane carrying Gandhi.
Many had linked the development to a possible sabotage by linking the ‘unexplained snag’ to Gandhi’s attack against the government on the Rafale deal.
