Rahul Gandhi to visit West Bengal

Congress Vice President who is on an all-India tour, trying to revive his party and also attacking the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre has now declared his next destination. Rahul Gandhi will be visiting West Bengal on 6th June. The VP will be interacting with Jute Mill workers in Hooghly and also home buyers in Kolkata.

His official handle also tweeted about his West Bengal trip.

Rahul Gandhi during his visit will also be addressing a meeting of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee workers which will be held in the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.

Rahul Gandhi recently paid tributes at Dr. Ambedkar’s memorial during his visit to Mhow, the birthplace of Ambedkar. Rahul addressed a public meeting in Mhow where he was reported saying that Ambedkar’s dream of “caste annihilation” was yet to be fulfilled. “We should not think that India has no danger from those ideologies which look down at one section of people. These powers are all the time trying to strengthen those walls against whom Baba Saheb fought his whole life. These ideologies weaken us by pitting one individual against the other,” Rahul Gandhi reportedly said taking a jibe at BJP.
