Congress President Rahul Gandhi will attend the swearing in ceremonies of three Congress chief ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on Monday.
Gandhi will first leave for Jaipur in the morning to be at the oath taking function of Chief Minister-designate Ashok Gehlot, who will be sworn in at 10.15 in the morning along with Sachin Pilot, who will assume office as the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan.
The function is scheduled to take place at Albert Hall Ground of Jaipur.
Gandhi will then head to Bhopal the same to attend the swearing in ceremony of Kamal Nath as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister. His function is scheduled to start at 13.15 hrs in the afternoon. This event is set to take place at Jamburi Maidan of Bhopal.
The Congress president will then travel to Raipur, where Bhupesh Baghel will take oath of office as Chhattisgarh Chief Minister at 16.30 hrs at Science College Ground.
The Congress had defeated the BJP in these states in the just-concluded assembly elections. Gandhi had earned plaudits for successfully managing to resolve the perceived differences among the hopefuls for the chief ministers’ posts in the states.
